Service delivery volunteer

Our service delivery volunteers are at the forefront of Victim Support’s work as they directly support victims, empowering them to move beyond crime by giving emotional and practical support.

What will I be doing?

Service delivery volunteers work alongside our staff teams to provide support to victims of crime, by either:

  • Providing emotional and practical support to victims of crime over the telephone, online or face-to-face to help them recover and move beyond crime
  • Providing some administrative support to our teams to help them do more
  • Specialising in certain aspects of crime types eg domestic abuse, homicide, hate crime, fraud.

  1. Complete an application form (approximately 30 minutes)
  2. Panel interview with two people
  3. References, identification, right to work and DBS check
  4. Get started!

  • Multi-crime modules 1-8
  • Information security video.
