Mental health support and counselling
Victim Support staff are not qualified mental health practitioners or counsellors, and there are specialist organisations that can provide this support.
If you’re experiencing a mental health crisis contact the 24/7 Lancashire Crisis helpline on 0800 953 0110.
Or to view a wide range of other services, visit the Hub of Hope website.
The organisations below provide specialist counselling, and other services, for victim-survivors of sexual abuse, sexual violence or domestic abuse. This is not a complete list, and other counsellors or counselling organisations are available in Lancashire.
Support from these organisations may also include ‘pre-trial’ therapy for victim-survivors in the criminal justice system.
