How we can help

We currently run the support services for the majority of people who have been affected by crime in Lancashire and we're pleased to be able to continue our relationship with the Police and Crime Commissioner’s team via a new service which started in April 2017.

Our specialist teams provide individual, independent, emotional and practical help to enable people to cope and recover from the effects of crime.

Our support is available regardless of whether or not you’ve contacted the police. If you call your local Victim Support team, we’ll make sure you get the information and support you need. This might be arranging a meeting for you to talk to us and receive emotional support in confidence, helping you to fill out a compensation form or get advice on how to make your home more secure, or referring you to other specialist organisations that can also help.

For information on the new service download our factsheet.
