Aiman Elal, Manager for independent charity Victim Support in West London, said:

“We know, from our support of victims of every sort of crime, how these experiences can have a devastating effect on people’s lives, especially if they feel alone. It is important that everyone has easy and accessible options for reporting a crime and Victim Support is working with other partners in Richmond to help ensure this happens.

“No one needs to suffer in silence so if you have been a victim of crime, our expert staff and trained volunteers are here to help practically and emotionally. Crime victims can come to us for free and confidential advice and support irrespective of how long ago the crime took place and whether or not the crime has been reported to police. Call our local team on 0845 450 3936 or get in touch via our website victimsupport.org.uk.”
