Twelve people have been killed and 48 injured in a “probable terrorist attack” on the evening of Monday 19 December after a lorry crashed into a Christmas market in Berlin. The incident took place at the Christmas market on Breitscheidplatz, near the Kurfuerstendamm, one of Berlin’s main shopping streets.
