This is a fixed term contract for six months, with potential to extend should funding be secured.
Victim Support is a national charity supporting victims and witnesses of crime. The Administrator will be working in the Victims Assessment and Referral Centre based in Ingatestone, Essex, providing wide ranging support to Initial Response Officers.
We are looking for applicants who have the skills and the motivation to be part of this on-going process in a busy and varied working environment.
The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to a team of Initial Response Officers, who will be undertaking comprehensive assessments of victims’ needs and associated risks by phone, with a view to providing a range of services to support the identified needs.
The working hours are part-time, 25 per week; this will include working 10am-4pm every Saturday, and hours during the week will be agreed with the successful candidate on appointment.
The successful candidate will require an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check satisfactory to Victim Support and Level 2 police vetting.
