Victim Support is a charity supporting people to cope and recover from the effects of crime. We are looking for an organised Account Administrator to be based in the York office, to provide administrative support to the Account Manager.

The working hours are part-time, 22.5 hours per week, to be worked in agreement with your line manager. This is a temporary position due to end on or before 31 March 2017, with potential to extend should funding be secured.

As part of this role, you will use your proficient IT skills to maintain accurate records of all volunteers, process applicable changes and ensure area payroll, finance and HR processes are completed in accordance with Victim Support’s national standards, policies and procedures.

You will be a confident communicator, able to deal appropriately and effectively with telephone and general enquiries, produce information for reports and undertake other administrative tasks as necessary. You must also be able to demonstrate sound numerical and analytical skills.

Knowledge of payroll processes and the ability to prioritise and work without direct supervision would be an asset.

On successful completion of probation, your salary will increase to £9,600 per annum (FTE £16,000 per annum).

The successful applicant will be required to undertake North Yorkshire Police vetting and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
