Are you an enthusiastic fundraising professional with knowledge and experience of donor acquisition, supporter care and individual giving programmes with a strong track record in database management?

We have a great opportunity to join our growing fundraising team at an exciting time of change and possibility at Victim Support (VS). As Supporter Care & Individual Giving Manager, you will be experienced and motivated, excited by the challenge of building a donor acquisition and supporter care programme from the very early stages of development.

You will be an energetic, creative individual with a strong track record of influencing stakeholders and working collaboratively across a complex, busy campaigning and service delivery organisation.

The successful candidate will be joining as we step up our fundraising programme and transform income generation at the charity, forging stronger relationships nationally and locally to build significant growth in unrestricted income.

Key responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage the individual giving strategy, using a variety of media and methods to maximise lifetime value and net income for the organisation.
  • Plan, manage and evaluate the supporter acquisition, development and retention programme in line with the overall Fundraising plan.
  • Responsible for the overall development, promotion and management of the VS supporter database to ensure its benefits are understood and maximised across the organisation.
  • To develop, implement and manage a legacy communication programme for new and existing supporters.

Victim Support is the independent charity for people affected by crime and traumatic events in England and Wales. Our specialist teams provide individual, independent emotional and practical help, to enable people to cope and recover from the effects of crime.

Knowledge or experience of the criminal justice sector is not essential.
