|Job Type:||1 year fixed term contract|
|Salary:||Up to £35,000|
|Closing Date:||1 April 2016|
Victim Support is a forward looking charity that is widely recognised as a world leader in developing and delivering victim and witness services that reach into all communities. We are grounded in communities across England and Wales, as well as having the strength of a national infrastructure and a well-established, award-winning volunteer network.
We are looking for a Project Manager (Strategic Projects) to provide exceptional support to Victim Support’s Strategy and Business Plans team, as well as managing the delivery of key national strategic projects. In addition, this post will support the Head of Strategic Planning in ensuring effective control of key strategic projects.
The role will allow the holder to act as an enabler, assisting colleagues in managing projects effectively. You will have responsibility for the planning and delivery of strategic projects, ensuring they meet time and budget expectations and will use problem solving to make recommendations on unique circumstances.
This Project Manager role will require you to demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as being highly organised and flexible. You will need the ability to gather information quickly and then condense the pertinent information into briefing reports. You will also need empathy with issues facing victims and witnesses.
Proven experience of delivering projects effectively is preferable; however this is not essential if you are able to show the required attributes necessary to succeed in this role.
You will report to the Senior Project Manager, Strategic Projects.
The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 1 April 2016.
