Victim Support, the leading independent charity for victims and witnesses, is seeking an experienced Communications Officer to join our busy communications team handling media, digital, fundraising and stakeholder communications, to raise our profile nationally and locally and help to promote our charity.

Across England and Wales, our staff and volunteers offer free and confidential support to more than one million victims a year through our local, national and specialist services, helping many to cope and recover from crimes including homicide, domestic and sexual violence and anti-social behaviour.

Reporting to the Communications Manager, and working closely with colleagues in policy, fundraising and volunteering, you’ll use your first class communications skills to help develop and deliver an integrated communications plan that aligns to our business objectives, demonstrates the value of our work and helps us raise more funds, so that we can support more people affected by crime. Your outstanding interpersonal skills will also be important as you develop our database of case studies, helping people we’ve supported to share their stories and so encourage other victims of crime to seek the help they need.
