Victim Support is a charity supporting people to cope and recover from the effects of crime. We are looking for a bright and organised Personal Assistant (PA) to be based in the Carmarthen office. The working hours are part-time, 20 per week, to be worked in agreement with your line manager.

As our proactive, assertive and confident PA you will provide comprehensive administrative support for the Services Director for Wales and West of England. This is a multi-faceted role, providing professional, efficient administration and secretarial support to the Services Director, as well as the Wales Board of Trustees.

The focus of the role is to provide effective, efficient and timely clerical and administrative support to the Senior Manager Team and Trustees, in order to allow them to focus on timely decision making, and strategic and day to day management of the organisation with minimal distraction.

You will need proven experience of providing high level support at Board or Director level and working in a busy office environment involving substantial contact with people at all levels within and outside the organisation.

Welsh language skills are essential for this role. A proven commitment to the voluntary sector would be an advantage.

On successful completion of probation, your salary will increase to £10,666.67 per annum (FTE £20,000 per annum).

The successful applicant will be required to undertake police vetting.
