Homicide Support Worker - Bristol

We're looking for a Homicide Support Worker to join our team in Bristol.

You will provide high quality administrative support to the Homicide team, assisting them in their role to deliver a premium service to people bereaved by homicide. You will also organise and administer commissioned services in accordance with Victim Support’s Homicide Service Delivery Model and undertake direct telephone contact with bereaved people when they are unable to contact their caseworker.

The successful candidate must have experience of developing and maintaining administrative systems, handling sensitive telephone calls (or other communications) confidently, efficiently, and effectively and have knowledge of office systems and procedures. You must also be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form, be able to use generic I.T. applications and have the ability to gather, organise and use information and evidence from different sources.

Appointments will be subject to satisfactory checks made by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) and will require satisfactory police vetting.
