Victim Support is a national charity that helps people affected by crime. We are currently looking for outstanding people to share our passion in wanting to make a difference in people’s lives.
We're looking to recruit an Administrator to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday (8am to 4pm shift one week and 12pm to 8pm the following week).
The role will entail liaising with police and other agencies to complete data and information, to enable swift contact by Initial Response Officers to victims and witnesses of crime. You will be proficient in IT systems and have experience of working on database and data inputting. You will follow agreed processes and timescales.
The post will require experience of delivering a service in a statutory, voluntary, community or private social care setting and working to agreed standards and procedures.
It is essential that you are able to communicate effectively, verbally and in written form, including telephone skills. It is also necessary for you to deal sensitively with challenging and emotionally charged situations, demonstrating empathy and controlling your own emotions.
