Virgin Money London Marathon 2018

It doesn’t get much bigger and better than the Virgin Money London Marathon, the holy grail of long distance running and one of the most famous races in the world.

There’s certainly a lot to enjoy on the day. The possibility of televised sporting glory, a day of sightseeing, thousands of enthusiastic fans and of course 26 miles and 385 yards of serious exercise.

Challenge details

The race will take place on Sunday 22 April 2018.

There's no registration fee for our London Marathon charity places, but we ask you to raise a minimum sponsorship of £2,000. To help you reach your target, we'll provide:

  • a fundraising pack — full of fantastic ideas and materials
  • dedicated one-to-one advice and support for all entrants
  • a personalised Victim Support running vest
  • fundraising support on social media.

The ballot for 2018 opened on Monday 1 May 2017 and closed at 5pm on Friday 5 May 2017.

If you missed or weren't successful in the ballot, we have a limited number of charity places available. For your chance to get a charity place, please download our application form and return it to fundraising@victimsupport.org.uk to register your interest.

If you were successful in the ballot you can still join our team to help raise funds for people affected by crime.
