Sue's story
"My girl was raped last year, and if it wasn’t for Victim Support I don’t know where I would be now. We were believed, and that means the world to me. Victim Support has been there for us 24/7, for the medicals, at the hospital, throughout court – there’s nothing I can do to thank them enough. My support worker has helped me through the tears and the anger – she’s been a life saver, and all the help has made us stronger. We know that help is only a phone call away – there’s always someone on the end of the line when you need them most.
"This is the biggest fight I’ve had to face, but we will get through it. I didn’t have support like this when it happened to me when I was younger – I had no-one to believe me. But Victim Support sticks by you – I thank them from the bottom of my heart."
